US craft beer production up 18%

Small and independent craft brewers enjoyed continued growth in the first half of 2014, according to new mid-year data released by the Brewers Association (BA), the not-for-profit trade association that represents the majority of US breweries.

New Zealand beers win medals in Kentucky

New Zealand breweries picked up eight medals at the recent Alltech Commonwealth Craft Beer Cup at Lexington Kentucky. One thousand beers from thirty countries were entered in the contest with 45 bronze, 36 silver and six gold medals were awarded.
