New Zealand kiwifruit marketer Zespri will now have a stronger industry presence in eastern China, thanks to the opening of a flagship store for the company’s product launched by distributor Golden Wing Mau.
In a release, the Chinese importer said the 200-square metre stall in the Huizhan Market was officially opened on April 29, and was the first of its kind worldwide.
Zespri Vice Chairman Bruce Cameron said the company attached great importance to the eastern Chinese market, and he was happy to have a partner like Golden Wing Mau in the region.
Huizhan Market general manager Xu Zheng wished both companies flourishing success and prosperity through the new operation.
The launch ceremony included celebrations with drums, firecrackers and a folk art performance.
