Amid the current call for improved country-of-origin food labelling in Australia, the latest findings from Roy Morgan Research reveal that the proportion of Australians 14+ years of age who are more likely to buy food if it is labelled ‘Made in Australia’ increased from 85% to 88% over the last two years.
In contrast, only 6% of Australians say they’d be more likely to buy food labelled ‘Made in China’ (almost unchanged from 5% in 2013).
