The 2024 Wellington Food Show has been postponed and will now run from Friday August 30 to Sunday September 1st at Sky Stadium. It was originally scheduled for May 24-26.
“With the Phoenix firmly holding their position at the top of the A League table, we felt we had to make an early call to reschedule our event and avoid a clash with a possible Grand Final home-game if the Phoenix make it all the way,” say the organisers.
“It was important to us to ensure our exhibitors didn’t suffer from any financial investment with flights, accommodation, freight and other logistical costs they would be committing to, hence the need to make this decision early. Now we can sit back on cheer on the Phoenix, and we look forward to running an outstanding Food Show in late August.
“We have already confirmed headline chef in the Neff Cooking Theatre – Stephanie Joy De Sousa – The Frugal Chef joining us from Australia, alongside a wealth of NZ talent. Plus we’ll be presenting a NEW BBQ feature, NEW Hancocks Drinks Masterclasses, and the return of crowd favourite – “Fresh As Cake Off”, plus over 140 exhibitors to surprise and delight!”
The Christchurch Food Show is running as scheduled this weekend from 5 – 7 April at Wolfbrook Arena, and the Auckland Food Show will take place as scheduled from 25-28 July at Auckland Showgrounds.
