PepsiCo Australia and New Zealand has appointed Robbert Rietbroek as Chief Executive Officer. In this new appointment, Rietbroek will have overall responsibility for PepsiCo ANZ’s snacks, beverages, and oats businesses, and its portfolio of successful and iconic brands including Smith’s and Bluebird Potato Chips, Pepsi Max and Gatorade.

Rietbroek joins PepsiCo from Kimberly-Clark Australia, where he was Managing Director and Chief Executive Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. His leadership at Kimberly-Clark included a focus on customer service, retailer partnerships, sustainability and delivering growth. Prior to Kimberly-Clark, Rietbroek spent 16 years at Procter & Gamble. He has a wealth of experience in fast moving consumer goods, both in Australia and internationally. Throughout his career, he has been recognised for exceptional brand building and innovation, including several awards for marketing initiatives.

Rietbroek is a Board member of the Australian Food & Grocery Council (AFGC), is Chairman of the AFGC Health, Nutrition and Scientific Affairs Committee and a Director on the Board for the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Australia.
