Flavoured milk brand, Barista Bros, is the latest addition to Coca-Cola New Zealand’s portfolio of beverages, and represents an exciting first foray into the dairy category in New Zealand for the company.
Head of Marketing of Coca-Cola New Zealand, Tracey Evans, says the business is focused on delivering innovation across its portfolio of beverages and meeting consumer’s growing and changing tastes – like using café quality ingredients such as real cocoa or 100% Arabica coffee in its Barista Bros flavours. “Barista Bros is our first dairy-based beverage brand to launch in New Zealand and is an exciting venture for us. This launch ensures we continue to provide Kiwis with a diverse range of beverage options.
“Barista Bros was launched into the Australian market three years ago and has been doing well. We believe it’s the right time to introduce Barista Bros to local consumers. It’s great for people looking for a quality flavoured milk product, that’s café inspired but remains good value,” says Evans.
New Zealand has seen rapid growth in the flavoured milk category with volume increasing nearly three times faster than any other non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverage. The value of the flavoured milk category has also jumped by $21million from 2015 to 2016*, with Barista Bros poised to meet the needs of a growing consumer base who are looking for delicious new milk beverages to try.
The Barista Bros range is available in 500mL bottles in three flavours; Iced Coffee, Double Espresso Iced Coffee and Iced Chocolate each with an RRP of $4.50.
Barista Bros is now available from on-the-go stockists such as dairies, with the brand looking to extend into wider distribution in the coming months.
