Fresh sushi arrives at Moore Wilson’s Porirua

Sushi lovers rejoice! A trendy new food kiosk is opening at Moore Wilson’s Porirua and will be operated by Miki Wee, who owns Newtown’s popular O’Sushi. Miki also runs the sushi kiosk at Moore Wilson’s Tory Street where O’Sushi has become a popular lunch joint for the many workers, students, and apartment dwellers of Te Aro.

Miki is an experienced sushi maker and uses only the best, freshest ingredients in her sushi, made onsite daily. Some O’Sushi favourites include Japanese-Style Sashimi, Maki, Vegetarian Tempura, California Rolls, and Teriyaki Salmon over Rice.

Moore Wilson’s Directors Julie and Graeme Moore recognised a gap in the market for on the go lunch options in the area that ticked all the boxes; tasty, healthy, and quick. “We wanted to offer both our customers and the many workers in the area a new lunch option” says Julie, “Miki’s sushi has been so popular at our Wellington store and we’re very excited to be able to bring O’Sushi to Porirua”.
