In the second week of PAK’nSAVE’s birthday celebrations (Saturday 9 July to Sunday 17 July), customers are being challenged to come in-store dressed as their favourite superhero, get their photo taken with Superhero Stickman, and then upload their photo to the PAK’nSAVE Facebook page.
For every photo that’s taken, PAK’nSAVE will donate one dollar to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. Shoppers will also go into the draw to win $1000 worth of groceries – simply because being a superhero really pays off.
Steve Bayliss, Group General Manager Marketing, Foodstuffs (NZ) Ltd, says it’s all about doing something different to celebrate PAK’nSAVE’s birthday. “This campaign is a celebration of the much-loved Stickman character,” Bayliss says. “He epitomises the PAK’nSAVE brand and lowest food prices policy, and we’re excited by the opportunity to engage with our shoppers in a fun way, in support of one of our national charity partners, the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.”
To ensure customers’ heroic actions are noted, they simply need to take a photo of themselves next to the giant Superhero Stickman standee in any PAK’nSAVE store across the country, and then upload that photo to the PAK’nSAVE Facebook page. PAK’nSAVE will then send a $1 donation on their behalf to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
“We encourage all of our customers – adults and kids alike – to dig into their dress-up box and join in for some fun,” concludes Bayliss.
PAK’nSAVE’s Birthday Campaign, highlighting Stickman as New Zealand’s low price superhero, will be supported through TV, digital and radio.
