After three years working with leading Australian retailers Coles, Sigma and Metcash, a successful US launch in September 2015 with Target Corporation, Jet.com and Southeastern Grocers, RangeMe (www.rangeme.com), the online product discovery platform, has confirmed its launch into New Zealand.
Flagship NZ retailers including Countdown, FreshChoice, SuperValue, Nosh Food Market and Huckleberry’s are now using RangeMe to source new products for their stores. Retailers and suppliers are already reaping the benefits of the platform. Waiheke Fudge, a family run business specialising in hand-made fudge, struggled to make contact with larger retailers, but since creating a profile in RangeMe have already secured a listing in Nosh Food Markets. “We were thrilled to receive a notification from Nosh via RangeMe. We have since gone on to negotiate a listing in all eight Nosh stores,” said Clare Gallagher, owner operator.
While the consumer market has been shaken up with innovative start-ups, the B2B market has been slow to keep pace. The consumer packaged goods industry still manages many processes the old fashioned way, with the initial product pitch to a retailer carried out over the phone, in person or at trade shows. RangeMe changes all that. Suppliers simply create product profiles with supporting information and RangeMe’s patented technology does the rest, matching the right product with the right buyer, and ultimately making it easier for retailers to discover suppliers of all sizes anywhere in the world.
“RangeMe solves a pain point for both buyers and suppliers. Some of the biggest retailers in the world have told us there’s a real need to streamline the product discovery process, and RangeMe does just that,” said Nicky Jackson, RangeMe CEO & Founder.
RangeMe recently secured US$4M from US Seed investors to grow existing markets exponentially.

RangeMe is the leading online platform that streamlines new product discovery between suppliers and retailers. The platform empowers retail buyers with an efficient way to discover innovative new products and manage the inbound new product submission process. For product suppliers and manufacturers, RangeMe gives increased control over the marketing of their products and greater access to retail buyers.
The company was founded by Nicky Jackson in 2014 based on her first-hand experience as a consumer goods entrepreneur. Nicky’s desire to achieve fast distribution for her line of baby skincare products inspired her to create an online platform to match sellers with buyers looking for products like theirs. Before launching RangeMe, Nicky worked as a marketing executive in Australia with top consumer goods companies including Kellogg’s, Pepsico and Jim Beam.
