SIAL CHINA 2015 – Asia’s Mega Food & Beverage Expo

rsz_sial_chinaWith its generous range of products, professional visitors will delight in the diverse business experience that SIAL CHINA offers in early May. With over 115,000 square metres of exhibition space, 2,734 exhibitors and 55,000 visitors from 110 countries and regions, SIAL CHINA is a mega food and beverage exhibition in the Asian food and beverage industry. The exhibition will take place from May 6 – 8, 2015 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, in halls W1-W5 and E1-E5.

In 2015, the USA joins as the Guest Country of Honour with over 100 companies presenting pork and poultry in Hall E3 and a great diversity and quality of American food, food ingredients and beverage products in Hall E1.

The national pavilion of Brazil will be present in Hall E3. Turkey will craft its national pavilion in Hall W3 as a big bazaar full of Turkish cuisines with 3,000 sqm of exhibition space. Korea has taken over 2,000 sqm space and will bring ready-to-eat products and beverages in Hall E1. Taiwan will display snacks in its 1,000 sqm pavilion in E1. South Africa returns to the food hall, while Finland, Latvia, Costa Rica and Georgia are bringing their national pavilions to SIAL CHINA for the very first time. Germany sees 75% growth in its pavilion size whilst Ireland and Belgium will be in the dairy zone of Hall W4. The United Kingdom is going strong in its food and dairy sectors, followed by countries and regions including France, Australia (see above), Tunisia, Switzerland, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Thailand, Canada and many more. Vietnam and Ukraine are also riding the final wave to join SIAL CHINA, adding the finishing touch to SIAL CHINA’s line-up of 82 national pavilions. In 2015, meat, dairy and seafood, fruits and vegetables and wine will be the strongest categories among the 21 dedicated sectors.

Featured as the most dynamic show in the largest food retail market in the world, SIAL CHINA attracts many Chinese delegation exhibitors to showcase the food and beverage trends inside China. Heilongjiang confirms as the Guest Province of Honour and will come with 40 companies showcasing rice, edible fungus, blueberry wine and other health and organic products. There will also be Shandong, Hongkong SAR, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Ningbo Taxfree Zone Pavilion, Gansu, and Agriculture Pavilions. China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Association, the Department of Ocean and Fisheries of Hainan Province, and the Oceanic and Fishery Department of Weihai City bring 40 leading Chinese enterprises to the seafood zone in Hall E3. In addition, China’s top three dairy companies (Yili, Mengniu and Bright Dairy); and China’s top seafood producers (Zhangzidao Group, Shandong Homey Aquatic and Shandong Oriental Ocean Sci-Tech) and the two largest players in the Chinese meat market (Henan Shuanghui and Jinzi Ham), will all come to showcase their best products at SIAL China 2015.

Following on from the very expansive meat area last year, SIAL CHINA this year will once again break the record in terms of meat products and exhibitors. Wagyu beef, American beef, Australian mutton, Chinese poultry and pork, along with other meat from all over the world will all converge at the two dedicated halls covering 25,000 sqm. USA, Australia, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, India and many more leading meat producers will stand out as the star exhibitors in the meat zone.

SIAL CHINA also offers numerous events, such as the Retail & Hospitality Forum, SIAL Innovation, and World Tour by SIAL, La Cuisine by SIAL, Chocolate World, The Fresh, China National Specialty Tea Brewers Cup Event, The Consumer Goods Forum and many more.
