Entries for the fifth annual PMA-Produce Plus Marketer of the Year Award close soon.
PMA Australia-New Zealand (PMA A-NZ) and Produce Plus are closing entries for the Marketer of the Year Award in just two weeks. Have you got a winning marketing campaign? Do you know someone who has shown excellence in fresh produce marketing? If so, it’s time to earn due recognition and submit an entry for Marketer of the Year 2016.
The 2016 PMA-Produce Plus Marketer of the Year will join the ranks of Harris Farm Markets, OneHarvest, Lisa Cork and Sarah McRae, who have all won previous awards for their excellence in the marketing of fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers.
The Marketer of the Year Award is open to any individual or team member who has shown excellence in the marketing of fresh fruit, vegetables or flowers in Australia or New Zealand in the past year.
Nominees can be from any part of the value chain – whether it be a seed producer marketing its offering to growers, a packaging company marketing its solutions to distributors, or a retailer marketing its products to consumers.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for industry members to gain industry-wide recognition, not only for their businesses, but for their personal efforts,” said Michael Worthington, CEO of PMA A-NZ.
“Marketing plays such a vital role throughout the fresh produce and floral supply chain and we’ve enjoyed covering some excellent examples of marketing in Produce Plus over this past year,” said Gabrielle Easter, Editor of Produce Plus. “Competition for this award has been increasing each year and we’re looking forward to receiving some great nominations for the 2016 Marketer of the Year Award.”
The PMA-Produce Plus Marketer of the Year Award will be presented at the PMA Fresh Connections conference and trade show in Brisbane on 17-19 May.
Self-nominations and nominations by third parties are welcome.
Entries close 31 March 2016.
