Freshmax CEO resigns

freshmax-logo-newFreshmax Group Pty Limited has begun an international recruitment search for a new Group CEO, following the resignation of Ross Kane.

While this process is underway the New Zealand leadership team will report directly to acting Chair Peter Ellis.

Ross joined the Freshmax Group in February 2013 and under his leadership Freshmax has completed a number of new business acquisitions, including Energie, the Valleyfresh Australia Group, Murrawee Farms and the Crasborn Group. Having lead the successful acquisition strategy, Ross has decided to leave the group and pursue other career interests.

Freshmax will work towards consolidating these acquisitions within the group whilst it creates a leading position in fresh produce in Australasia. To this end the Board has undertaken to develop a clear vision and strategic framework for the new Freshmax.

“We want to thank Ross for his contribution, and wish him well for the future,” said Peter Ellis, Chair of Freshmax.
