Foodstuffs NZ appoints New World Marketing Head

International marketer, Giselle Bleakley joins the Foodstuffs New Zealand team as the new Head of Marketing & Customer Experience – New World.

Giselle comes from Asahi Beverages New Zealand, where she held a variety of strategic roles over an eight-year period, including leading the launch of the Long White brand and achieving record market share for Asahi in the Beer and Wine categories.

No stranger to the FMCG or retail industry, Giselle comes to the New World team with extensive experience as a senior leader in a variety of insight, marketing and sales roles spanning across a number of diverse industries, including dairy and fast food.

Dominic Quin, Group General Manager Marketing & CX, Foodstuffs NZ says Giselle is a highly skilled insight-driven professional, which makes her a great fit to lead the next phase of New World’s customer driven journey.

Giselle has built a career in marketing at world-leading companies including Fonterra and others across the globe. She discovered a passion for the fast pace and the end-to-end ownership of retail, while working for Yum! on the KFC brand, one of the fastest growing quick service restaurant brands in the UK.

“This is my dream job, it allows me to bring together my experience developing teams, creating customer focused marketing and brand strategies, all while leveraging a love for all things food related. The New World team are world-class marketers and I’m really pumped to be leading them.
