Shopping from the comfort of home is now possible for local customers who will be able to enjoy added convenience with the introduction of online shopping and Click & Collect at New World Gore. Gore is the latest town to go live with online shopping and is a part of Foodstuffs South Island’s phased rollout spanning Motueka to Invercargill during 2022.
Each New World store is proudly owned and operated by a local and each store has the flexibility to offer products that are tailored to the likes and needs of their community – and this now also extends to the online offer for each New World. New World is offering both Click & Collect and delivery options.
Kirsten Deuchrass, owner operator at New World Gore says, “The introduction of online shopping and Click & Collect is something our customers have been wanting for quite some time and we’re delighted to introduce it to them this week.”
The Click & Collect service has the added convenience where customers can park in a dedicated Click & Collect car park, and a team member will bring the order out to the customer’s car.
New World online shopping customers will be able to place orders up to 7 days in advance, the order checkout process can be completed up to 12 hours ahead of collection time.
“Having completed training last week, the team are now looking forward to seeing customers try out the online options for themselves,” says Deuchrass.
