House of Fine Foods celebrates a 25-year milestone!

On April 1st, 1996, House of Fine Foods was founded by Wayne and Karin Tibbotts in their son’s bedroom. 25 years on, the family has continued to grow a business founded on strong family values, great service, nourishing relationships, and an intimate knowledge of the ever-changing FMCG sector.

The Tibbotts have ‘kept it in the family’ all this time – but today, our family has grown to over 50 staff across the country. Although not everyone shares DNA, we all share a passion for great food experiences and take pride in doing a fantastic job for the brands we represent.

The House of Fine Foods team took to the beautiful Paihia in the Bay of Islands to celebrate their anniversary. The four days consisted of fun, laughter, and reflecting on 25 memorable years.

CEO Brett Tibbotts says: “None of the last 25 years of success would have been possible without our exceptional staff, whose passion for people and brands have seen us grow into a First Choice business.

“We would like to acknowledge our wonderful suppliers for their endless support, trust, and innovation year after year.

Lastly, we commemorate House of Fine Foods founders Karin and Wayne for having the courage to follow through on their aspirations 25 years ago.
