The Supreme Winner of the third annual Vegan Society Vegan Cheese Awards has taken out the top spot with their delicious “Cumin Gouda Style”.

The 2023 Fine Food New Zealand trade show attracted record numbers of exhibitors and delegates, and will return in 2025.

The accolade was awarded at the Summer Fancy Food Show, hosted in New York City.

Fine Food New Zealand event has secured the participation of more than 250 exhibitors, with delegate registrations for the trade-only event passing 5,000.

Making a record return in June 2023, more than 250 exhibitors will converge at Auckland Showgrounds to share the latest flavours, trends, equipment, ingredients and beverages.

More than 290 locally harvested, grown and made food and drink products were assessed, with 208 Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals awarded.

“To keep the Grocery Charity Ball trust going for another 20 years, the older trustees have appointed two new ‘younger’ trustees,” says Don Graham, Chair of the Grocery Charity Ball Trust.

Kiwi producers who make food and drink with aroha and passion are being invited to enter the 2023 Outstanding NZ Food Producer Awards, which will be judged at Homeland in February 2023.

IRI will host the virtual event for all retailers and manufacturers in the FMCG sector.

This year’s finalists include an impressive line-up of new brands and products such as Augustines of Central’s ‘Black Doris Plums in Pinot Noir’, and Aotea Organics’ ‘Kingfish Salami’.
