Last year the New Zealand Food Awards received over 300 entries from 91 companies across the motu, ranging from large global brands to small artisanal producers.
This year they’re looking for products and businesses that:
• Are new to market (less than three years old).
• Demonstrate innovation in formulation, production, process, or distribution.
• Have a sustainable lifecycle, considering environmental, social and economic outcomes.
• Showcase exceptional food technology and food safety.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience.
From big players to smaller producers, ingredient supply companies to primary produce, there’s a place and category for all businesses.
Entrants have the opportunity to network with other innovative food and beverage producers, gain insights into the industry and receive valuable advice from industry experts along the way.

The New Zealand Food Awards is an annual event that celebrates innovation and excellence in the food and beverage industry. This year judging week will be held from 23 – 27 June and sees a panel of over 25 experts from a cross-section of industry come together to assess entries.
Paired with an influential partner network leading the food and beverage sector, the New Zealand Food Awards is one of New Zealand’s most prestigious and credible food and beverage awards.
