Leonard’s cranks out new kransky

Established in 1989, Leonard’s has been a favourite with Kiwi families and award judges ever since. In fact the company has won no less than 27 medals in the Great New Zealand Sausage Competition over the years.

The latest addition to their range is a classic flavour combination of cheese and jalapeño pepper. Owner Robert Bell, CEO, says the new Jalapeno Cheese Kransky is delicious fried, grilled or barbecued. “You get the creaminess of the cheese, then there’s a gentle hint of heat from the jalapeño,” he says. “It’s a traditional coarse-textured sausage, perfectly complemented by the lightly-smoked natural casing.” According to Robert it’s versatile too. “There are so many ways to enjoy it. Served as a traditional sausage, wrapped in pastry, in a bread roll–any way you like it.

Leonard’s prides itself on quality across its entire range, including bacon, ham and deli meats as well as sausages. But, says Robert, not at an unaffordable price. “We believe everyone deserves top quality kai at a great price and this new Jalapeño Cheese Kransky is the perfect example. Like all our products it’s made with the best ingredients, plus it’s gluten and MSG-free. Our aim is to bring family and friends together to enjoy great food and create happy memories together. So we have high hopes that this new product, with a classic flavour, will prove an instant favourite.”

The new Jalapeno Cheese Kransky  joins the wider range of Leonard’s products on sale at major supermarkets, butchers heatand Gilmours around the country. Visit leonards.co.nz for details.
