Mike Pretty, Managing Director of Kraft Heinz in New Zealand, has been elected Chair of the NZ Food and Grocery Council.
“This is terrific news for our industry,” said Katherine Rich, Chief Executive of the FGC. “Like outgoing Chair Tim Deane, Mike is passionate about the growing and manufacturing of high quality great food in New Zealand from canned peaches and frozen fresh vegetables to sauces, meals and many other brands loved by New Zealanders. Mike has been very active in the FGC for years as chair of our Health & Regulatory Working Group and as vice-chair. We congratulate him on this appointment.”
