Calling all local ice cream and gelato makers – it’s time to get creative!
Entry for the NZ Ice Cream & Gelato Awards 2025 is open until Friday 4 July. The fee per entry is $135 + GST.
The ‘Best of’ theme this year is ‘Best of Biscuit’. The award organisers are looking for ice cream, gelato, sorbet or low fat products with a component that may be biscuit-flavoured ripples or sauces and biscuit inclusions. For this category, biscuit includes cookie dough, brownie, and cheesecake.

Acclaimed chef Geoff Scott is back again as Chief Judge for judging on Saturday 19 July. Samples must be delivered on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 July to the Manukau Institute of Technology (same venue as last year).
