Chocolate dreams come true for Kiwi kids

Wellington Chocolate Factory is making chocolate dreams come true with its new competition, giving Kiwi children the chance to dream up, design and bring to life their unique chocolate flavour and wrapper, which will be made and sold by the award-winning chocolatiers.

Wellington Chocolate Factory (WCF) is launching Chocolate Dreams, a brand new competition to bring magic to New Zealand homes and spark children’s imaginations, as New Zealand responds to COVID-19.

Children aged between 5 -13 can enter and create their dream chocolate flavour and artwork for the wrapper. Gabe Davidson, WCF’s Founder, will guide them through the magic of making chocolate with an online series of videos. The winning flavour will be released just in time for Christmas.

Gabe Davidson says he’s looking forward to seeing what magic combinations New Zealand’s next generation of chocolate makers create.

“We’re excited to see what flavours and combinations our budding chocolate makers dream up – and how they bring them to life,” says Gabe Davidson.

The winner of Chocolate Dreams, and their family, will win a weekend in Wellington. They will visit the Factory, watch their creation be made and wrap the first bar produced. They will also win a 12 month chocolate subscription from WCF.

Thanks to WellingtonNZ, the winner and their family will also experience the best of the Capital with a weekend full of activities, including; two night’s accommodation, a family pass to Wellington Zoo, a day tour at ZEALANDIA and a Weta Cave Workshop Tour & Miniature Effects Tour at Weta Workshop.

Chocolate Dreams entries are now open and close on 15 June 2020. To enter and find out more, please visit https://www.wcf.co.nz/chocolate-dreams.
